Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us here at DunshaughlinServices.ie. It is important that you know exactly what information we have and how we use it. Our privacy policy below details all aspects of this.

General Site Usage:

As you navigate our site, we collect various bits of information to help us improve our sevice. None of this information can be used by us to identify you as a person. The data includes things like the device you use to access our site, the operating system your device is on, etc. (Metrics data). By knowing what systems access us the most, we can gear our development towards these systems in particular.

For legal reasons, we do store IP addresses; but we have no way of using this to identify you as a person at all.

If you use our Contact Us section, we do ask for your name and email address (and optionally for a mobile number). The email address is so we have a means to contact you back, the name is for salutation purposes and the mobile number is optionally for if you would rather be contacted by phone than by email. All information sent by the Contact Us form is stored in case you ever want to contact us again and reference a previous query.

Cookie Policy:

EU Law now requires all websites to openly state their cookie policy. Unlike most websites, we do not use cookies on our website in any way.

Generally speaking, we are aware that some people have reservations with regards to cookies and would rather if cookies were not used. For this reason, we try our best to design our website without the need for any cookies. As of yet, we have not found any cases where cookies were the only option. If it does happen that we need to add certain functionality to our website that requires cookie usage then we may start using them, but this is a last resort for us.

Our website does use Google Analytics to get a better understanding of our customers. Google Analytics may use cookies to deliver its services. For this reason you should check the Google Analytics privacy policy here for more information.

Our hosting company, ipower.com, may use cookies. Please consult their privacy policy to find the up-to-date information about their cookie policy.

Partners and Data Sharing:

DunshaughlinServices.ie is part of Community Cog. As such, all information collected is stored in, and processed by, Community Cog.

When you view service listings on our site, your IP Address is stored as a hit for that listing. We compile hits into lists and provide them to the service listing owner. This is to allow them to see the traffic that is going to their listing and allow them to make changes and track traffic impact as a result. This allows them to constantly improve the service they offer by understanding their potential customers better.

Our social media services (our "like", "follow" and "share" buttons) are provided by AddThis.com. Their privacy policy can be viewed here. This only applies to the buttons that reference our own pages. "Follow" buttons on service listings are all inhouse and don't go through AddThis.com at all.

As stated above, our hosting company (ipower.com) own the servers the information is on, and as a result, have access to the data stored on it.
